Hello, my name is Jason Keller. I am an Information Technology major who graduated from Kent State University at Tuscarawas in December 2022. With a concentration in Integrated Information, I've been exposed to a variety of areas within the IT field including Visual Basic programming, Microsoft Office productivity suite, computer hardware and software troubleshooting, networking, HTML5 website design, ethical hacking, Windows troubleshooting, social media security, and a host of other areas.
Throughout my college career, I have worked as an intern for the Ohio Department of Public Safety at a local Driver's Exam Station while balancing news coverage, sports photography, data entry and upkeep, copyediting, and proofreading all for a local newspaper popular amongst the Amish communities across the United States - The Budget.
Post-graduation, I've worked as a Driver License Examiner for the Ohio Department of Public Safety. In this position, I've been able to put my strong work ethic and quick thinking to the test, providing my best work for the State of Ohio. In March of 2024 I accepted a promotion to Driver Exam Station Supervisor where I now manage several Exam Stations as we aim to best serve the public.
Following graduation, I intend to enter the field in an entry-level position, such as a service technician or infrastructure specialist, for a reputable company or State Entity. With the variety of experiences that I've gathered through my college career at Kent State University, as well as hands-on projects outside of the classroom setting, I aim to be an all-around useful asset for a company in the future. Additionally, as thanks to my experience within the Department of Public Safety, I'm keeping up-to-date with the changes in information technology as it evolves into our field.
